Forks, Washington

Yes, Forks is now known as the place of shape shifters and vampires.  But, you know, before all that happened we were aware of that part of the Pacific Northwest at a beautiful place.  Wet, but beautiful.  The deep green of the forest and the rush of the Pacific Ocean are reason enough to visit Forks.

The sights of the area amazing.  http://www.forkswa.com/  is a great site to learn about
forks and find places to say and places to eat.  Naturally there are too many things to do it is best to check out this site and read it all.
The parks lands are particularly special.  That isn't to say there aren't some fun things to do with the city on the theme of the Twilight series.

Fishermen find miles and miles of rivers to get a line wet.  Check to get accurate season and rules from the state.
Be sure to look at the information about crabbing, shell fish and ocean fishing.

Naturally you want to get to know the city but, one of the best things of this part of the north west is in the Olympic National Park.  The growth of the forest, the pounding of the sea and the wonder of times gone by flood the mind with wonder and amazement.  You can just stand and take in the joy of it.
