Puyallup River Walk

Interesting how things are changing around you and at time the changes go unseen.  This is the case with me as I went for a stroll in Puyallup near the river.

At a park entrance their are people getting ready to join the fishing group.  Waders and gear.  Ready to go.  And there is something that surely took time to create.  It is and old Maple stump.  More than a stump.  It is tall.  Now it is tall and a carved art work.

Eagles and other birds are brought out of the wood to live in view of anyone passing by.  Fish swimming up the truck of this old beauty make the beauty something new yet as old as the wildlife it shows.

When an artist can do this and shares it is wonderful.

Walking around Bradley Lake

From time to time I go for a brisk walk around the lake on South Hill.  Not a bad way to get some blood moving around the body.

It's a small lake with a simple path.   It's paved, easy to walk and pleasant.

Standing In The Rain

I know.  The rain is not all that fun.  However, I was just today near a ball field talking to a local beer expert and the rain was light.  It was cold.  It wasn't all that bad.  Looking around I saw blossoms on a few trees.  Yes, standing in the rain is not all that bad when you know it is now going to be long.

Our northwest is beautiful because of the rain.  With that said, I want sun, blue sky, warmth, shorts, sundresses, hiking shoes, beach blankets, lunch in the grass and a few more things.
